Easter

Hi everyone
What a glorious day, good job I made this card in advance as I'd hate
to be stuck indoors.
I've used Galeria Papieru WET PAINT 111 for the bottom layer
and inked a piece of white card with 'Milled Lavender' distress ink.
The Easter egg is a stamp by Viva Décor that I've highlighted with Promarkers.
I've made the nest from Sisal and lined it with natural moss and added
cute little resin eggs. I've used natural twigs from the garden, spiral stamens and
I've made the flowers from white Foamiran and coloured with oil pastels, then
dusted with crushed ice.

Because you're Special

Good morning all
Back today with a card using the beautiful papers from Lemoncraft's 'House of Roses'
pad. I cannot stress enough how gorgeous these papers are from
Crafty Enjoyments.
I've distressed and inked the edges for a shabby look.
I've tucked a little lace under the centre panel and added the fabulous
'Rose Frame' chipboard. The flowers have been made from white Foamiran
and coloured using oil pastels, then dusted with crushed ice.

Butterflies

Hi all

For today's card I have used  papers that I've had a while and just
thought they would go perfectly with what I had in mind.
The flowers have been made with white Foamiran and coloured with oil pastels then
dusted with crushed ice. I've also run a line of crushed ice along the curved paper edge.
The butterflies I have cut from Memory Box 'Kensington Border' die.

New April Challenge

Good morning all
There's a new April challenge started over at Crafty Enjoyments it's called
'Spring is sinking in flowers made from Foamiran'. If you haven't heard
of Foamiran it's a very thin 0.6mm foam that becomes very pliable when heated
with an iron or a heat tool. As those of you who follow me know I am totally addicted
to the stuff and it makes the most beautiful flowers. There is a great prize for
the winner 20% off everything in their shop which is just amazing. Please do check
them out as they offer great value on everything.
Here is my inspiration for the challenge

It's my Daughter Eve's  Birthday on 22nd April and I thought this
would make a lovely keepsake for her.
Firstly I painted and crackled a 10 inch piece of MDF and added an MDF lamppost
and sentiment that I painted the same colour. I added some Powertex 3D balls at
opposite corners and again painted in the same colour chalky paint.
Then I added my Foamiran flowers, frosted berries and leaves.

Letter Rack

Hi everyone
Today I'm sharing a project I made sometime ago.
It's an MDF letter rack, that I've painted with chalky paint then crackled. I've stamped
at intervals with a script stamp, then stenciled with a hessian stencil and modelling paste.
I've gone around the edges with 'Gathered Twigs' distress ink.
At the top I have added a piece of printed acetate then decorated with flowers,
leaves, berries and raffia.
The bottom ledge has been decorated with an MDF bird that I've painted and crackled,
a sisal bird's nest, natural moss, foam wheat sprigs and crushed ice.

Grapes

Hi everyone
This is a card I made on a creative weekend I went on a couple of weeks ago.
The papers are from Anna Marie Designs Blissful Green and Blissful Cocoa pads.
They have been distressed and edged with 'Gathered Twigs' distress ink.
The grapevine has been made using a mixture of purple frosted berries and purple
beads from a pearl garland.
The sentiment is from a set by Anna Marie Designs.

Kettle

Hi everyone
This is one of the projects I did when I went on my creative weekend
a couple of weeks ago.
This is an MDF kettle and I've  used  lots of mixed media products including
Viva Décor Modelling Paste, Kristall - Gel, Patina Wax  and Inka Gold.
I've decorated it with paper flowers and frosted berries.
